This piece was inspired by Oprah’s Super Soul, The Covenant of Water: The Podcast - Episode 1. I started this painting before listening to the episodes, still unsure of what I was going to name her. While finishing up the details on this painting and listening to this episode, it made sense to connect the two because of the colors, that represent water/ocean/movement/acceptance. Listen to this podcast and you’ll have a better understanding of the meaning of this painting.
